“At first I was dubious as I never really believed in hypnotherapy. After some time we were both in agreement he was going to work on a lifelong, some 28 years of nail biting. Can I just mention though, this wasn’t nail biting as a mediocre habit, I’m talking extreme biting that I couldn’t stop no matter what I tried, until they bled, until they were that sore I couldn’t bend my fingers and even to the point I couldn’t hold anything in my hand. Nothing I had ever tried before could break the habit.

After ONE session and to this day I have never bitten them since. That’s the honest truth. How Does It Work?
Cognitive Hypnotherapy is a highly effective evidence-based therapy. It combines hypnotherapy with NLP, CBT, Positive Psychology and Evolutionary Psychology. Every client is treated in a unique way and all interventions and hypnotherapy sessions are bespoke to the individual client’s needs.
Cognitive Hypnotherapy starts with a conversation. You will discuss your problem or condition and I will ask you a series of questions about how it affects your life. There isn’t any magic or hocus-pocus! I won’t ask you to gaze at a swinging pocket watch or to stare into my eyes. I will simply ask you to go into a light trance, a state in which you feel comfortable and relaxed. I will then speak to your unconscious mind so that you can let go of your problem and embrace a healthier, happier and more successful you.

So what are my credentials for being a hypnotherapist? Well, I’ve had addictions to alcohol and tobacco. I’ve been stuck in negative thought patterns such as procrastination, depression and low self-esteem. I’ve had anxiety and panic attacks and I was lost in a fog of my own worries.
I worked in public service and the private and charity sectors before qualifying as a hypnotherapist. I know what it’s like to work in highly stressful environments and how it can impact your life.
Through hypnotherapy I was able to identify, understand and deal with these issues and now, as a certified Cognitive Hypnotherapist, I’m passionate about helping others achieve the same results.
